Rik Hafer is an economist, author, and fly fishing enthusiast. During his career he has worked as a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, was a Distinguished ResearchProfessor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and most recently served as Director of the Center for Economics at Lindenwood University. In addition to his academic work, his articles on fly fishing, the introduction of trout, and the role of railroads have appeared in the St.Louis Post-Dispatch, The American Fly Fisher, and Railroad History.
All members are encouraged to arrive around 5pm to have dinner and socialize!
