NAFF Monthly Speaker
At the August NAFF meeting Dave Boyer will talk about fly fishing in salt water. Dave has experience in not only cold water fly fishing, but also warm and salt water. He has fished the salt in Florida, South Carolina, Hawaii, Texas, Belize and Southern California. Dave is past president of the NAFF. He is also a member of the Long Beach Casting Club and keeps up with issues of fly fishing the salt in SoCal. Dave will discuss fishing the salt in Southern California as both easy access and the challenges with the various waters available there.
California is unique with the various waters available, surf, bays, near shore, offshore, oil islands, oil rigs and islands. He will discuss the best of surf fishing with a rod only and how to find fish.
Join us on Tuesday, August 20 at Jamie's Local Flavor Restaurant at 1502 Hwy 62 E, Mountain Home to hear Dave’s interesting talk. Arrive by 5:00pm for dinner, presentation will start around 6:00pm.
All members are encouraged to arrive early, maybe 5pm, to have dinner & socialize!
